All computers that we work on are subject to our Full System Check, so while the problem may be a virus we also will conduct a full system check on the unit, run updates, check your security software is up to date, defrag the drive, test all system components etc etc.
4. No Fix No Fee!
Sometimes a repair is not the most economical way, if for example the motherboard on an old laptop has failed and the cost of repair is too much, in these cases we do not charge the customer. Our policy is No Fix No Fee so while we may have spent a lot of time working to diagnose the issue we do not charge if we don't carry out the repair. It's bad enough that the customer will have to pay for a new Laptop without also having to pay just to be told that the old laptop is not worth repairing.
